The trekking route traverse Modi river, Birethanti iron bridge, Syauli Bazaar, Ghandruk, and some dense forests before reaching Khopra Danda. Don’t forget to observe the stunning sunrise and sunset view at Khopra Danda. Enjoy a miraculous view of the pristine Khayer Lake. The uphill trek is slightly difficult. Crossing Dhan Kharka, we will descend to Swanta village. From Swanta village, it is going to be an uphill trek towards Ghorepani. Explore the unique beauty of Ghorepani while you explore its culture, tradition, architecture, people, food, lifestyle. Then, trek back to Hile from where you will ride back to Pokhara. If there’s some leisure time left, the time can be utilized to explore Pokhara. The next day, we will depart from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Is it a high altitude trek?

Yes, it is a high altitude trek, unlike Ghorepani Poonhill trek. The maximum height attained in the Khopra Danda Trek is 4,660m so it is quite a high altitude to suffer from altitude sickness. There is less probability of suffering from altitude sickness since we will properly acclimatize in between the trek. We will ascend at a slow pace to avoid altitude sickness. During Spring (March-April-May), the weather is clear. The mountain ranges can be visualized clearly. The rhododendron forest is dense and walking through those beautiful forests will be a wonderful experience.
