<p>Arrive TIA on the first day where our agent will receive you. You will be safely shifted to a nice hotel in Kathmandu. You can relax for a while then a short briefing will take place. Afterward, you can prepare yourself for 6 to 7 hours long drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Consider a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara if you don’t want to go via road. It will only take around 30 minutes via air. </p><p></p><p>To enjoy the road trip with your friends and family, driving to Pokhara is recommended. You will be able to observe the scenic beauty of various places along the trip. We will take lunch in a nice hotel in between the trip. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will store our luggage in a Hotel and stroll around the Pokhara for a while.</p>

<p>While in Pokhara, you can do last minute shopping. Buy essentials that you have forgot to bring with you. Trekking gears are also available in the shops of Pokhara. You can also exchange the Nepali currencies in Pokhara. Moreover, use ATM in Pokhara, which is probably not available in the trekking routes. </p><p></p><p>From Pokhara, it will be a short drive of around 4 to 5 hours to Beni. An uphill drive to Naudanda and a downhill to Nayapul will be a journey filled with a visual treat. You can get a glimpse of mountains like Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. A ride along the banks of Myagdi River will finally take us to Beni. It is a beautiful village surrounded by green hills and fields. We will stay overnight at Beni.</p>

<p>From Beni, our incredible Jomsom Muktinath trek begins. We will trek from Beni, all the way to Tatopani, which will be an easy trek. We won’t be covering long distances at the start of our trek. Our trekking trail basically follows the Kali Gandaki River. We will cross small villages, waterfalls, and meadows on the way to Tatopani. It won’t take more than 4 to 5 hours to reach Tatopani. </p><p></p><p>Tatopani means ‘hot water’. There are natural hot water springs on the way, hence the name Tatopani. You can stop by to soak in the hot spring. Trekkers find these natural hot springs relaxing and enjoyable. After a quick bath in the hot spring, we will find a nice teahouse in Tatopani to stay overnight.</p>

<p>After a quick breakfast, we will leave Tatopani and head uphill towards Ghasa. The trekking route runs along the Kali Gandaki River that encloses the wonderful Rupsi waterfall, orange farm, and the scenic view of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. After walking for 5-6 hours, we reach the charming village of Ghasa. Ghasa is a small village with a thick settlement of Thakali people. Explore this Thakali village and its unique culture. We will settle in Ghasa for the night.</p>

<p>Wake up early and observe the mesmerizing view of the Tukuche peak. The series of pine trees leads the trekking path gracefully. The route is slightly rocky halfway. Crossing a long suspension bridge above the Kali Gandaki River, we reach Larjung village. Walking for around 8 hours, we finally reach Marpha village, located at an altitude of 2,680m. The hotels at Marpha have good ambiance and facilities. Rest and prepare for tomorrow.</p>

<p>Marpha is best known for its apples and hence called ‘The Capital of Apple’.Most of the people here are engaged in apple farming. They are also known to prepare fabulous apple wine and apple pie. After exploring the stunning landscape of Marpha and its richness in culture, we will follow the path that leads to Kagbeni. </p><p></p><p>The trekking trail to Kagbeni is dry and rocky. Follow the trail that encloses ancient villages of Jharkot and Khinga where you can take some time to enjoy the raw beauty untouched by urban chaos. We will pass through one of the popular towns of the Annapurna region and that is Jomsom village. Jomsom is a trading hub where most of the people from small villages gather for business purposes. After 5 hours walk, we will reach Kagbeni. </p><p></p><p>Kagbeni is surrounded by hills and barren land. Don’t forget to keep yourself hydrated. The houses, temples, and old structures here are made up of piled stones. Such amazing architecture cannot be seen in cities. Visit centuries-old monasteries where you can observe monks chanting and their rituals. Sakyapa Monastery, also known as Kagchode Thubten Sampheling Gompa, built in 14th-century is one of the major religious attractions in Kagbeni. </p><p></p><p>A freezing breeze blows most of the time so cover yourself properly with warm clothes. People here enjoy archery as an amusement activity. Explore the incredible landscape and Tibetan culture of Kagbeni while you stay here.</p>

<p>Today is going to be a little tough trek but it is worth your perseverance. We will be covering a massive distance and ascend to an altitude of 3,710m which is higher enough to cause altitude sickness to the trekkers. So keep hydrating yourself and give yourself time to relax in between the trek. </p><p></p><p>A tiring walk of around 5-6 hours will get us to an enchanting place of Mustang, called Muktinath. The place is also called the Upper Mustang that lies near the Tibet border. You can find a thick settlement of the Gurung and Thakali settlement. Explore their culture and enjoy their warm hospitality. The livelihood of these people has a Tibetan influence. The architectures and prayers flags in the stone-built structures give Tibetan vibes.</p><p></p><p>Muktinath is best known for the sacred temple of Muktinath and the stunning view of the Himalayan range it offers.
