Starting Point: Pokhara, the City of Lakes

Commencing from the picturesque city of Pokhara, known as the “city of lakes,” the 115 km trek winds through ancient villages like Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Dovan, inhabited by Gurung, Thakali, and Mananga communities. Marvel at the sparkling mountains and lush hills surrounding the Kathmandu city as you approach Tribhuvan International Airport. After completing the checkout formalities you will meet our airport representative outside the terminal.

Around a half, an hour drive to the hotel will allow you to take a quick glimpse at the beautiful city. Check-in, get fresh and visit our office for the briefing and preparation of the trek. If you arrive in the daytime, you can explore the most colorful market of Kathmandu,Thamel. Replete with the tourist all the time, the Thamel market offers everything from household goods to trekking gears, spices, clothing stores, handicraft shops and so on.Enjoy the original local cuisine before heading back to the hotel.

Either you can take a flight to Pokhara or drive private jeep/Scorpio or tourist coach. If you choose to fly, it will take around half an hour. However, 6 to 7 hours of drive Pokhara. will be filled with fun, new experiences and a fair share of challenges.

The snaky road and few ups anddowns are going to add the thrill.Drive on the road carved in between the hills teamed up by the scenic beauty along side the Trishuli river is sure to keep you on your toes. Drive alongside the scenic trail enjoying the view of rural Nepalese lifestyle and lush hills. Spend a night in a hotel.

Savor a delicious breakfast then hop into the jeep. The scenic one and half an hour drive will take us to Nayapul, The trail head. The constant vista of Mt.Macchapucchere makes the ride exciting.

An easy walk on the dusty road for around twenty minutes will lead us to the rocky stairs heading down.Few minute walks will take us to the first iron suspension bridge followed by a sparsely populated village. A half an hour walk from here will take us to another bridge over Modi River. Walk past the beautiful waterfall, a beautiful river, and another suspension bridge to reach our lunch spot. From here, we will be walking upward on the rocky stairs. Upon reaching Tikhedhunga, we will settle in a local lodge.

A new day starts with a new challenge. The trail from here is a bit difficult as we will have to climb 3000+ stairs upward. After fueling on a delicious breakfast, we will move towards a large suspension bridge. Within fiften minutes, the stairs appear. Walk on the trail dotted with beautiful forests, villages, and vistas of glowing mountains on the backdrop. The trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani passes through small villages including Ulleri, Banthanti, and Nange Thanti.

As we rise the vistas get much prettier.A short break in Ulleri is followed by a filling lunch. From here, we will ascend and descend on the trail dotted by beautiful forest until we reach Ghorepani. Spend a night in a lodge.

We will start our day early today. With the help of moonlight and torch, we will tramp to Poon hill to relish the mesmerizing vista of the sun rising behind the sparkling mountains.

The path to Pooh hill is challenging but worth it. Upon reaching on the top, we will spend some time clicking pictures, sipping tea and enjoying the amazing views. Head back to Ghorepani, have breakfast then continue our journey to Tadapani. Follow the uphill trail dotted by lush forest then walk on the ridge. After walking for around an hour, we will descend to the valley. On the way, we can see small shrines.Walking for around 6 to 7 hours will take us to Tadapani, a beautiful village on the foothill of Macchapuchere.

6 to 7 hours of the trail passes through some prominent villages includingTaulung,Ghurjung, Kimrong Khola, and Chuile. Though the hike is easy, the natural gems .this trail offers is unparalleled.

The hike starts with a gradual descent through the rhododendron forest with an occasional vista of Macchapuchare and Annapurna South. As we head out of the forest beautifully manicured terraced fields welcome us.

Walk past a sparsely populated village then cross the Kimrung Khola to start newadventure i.e. climbing another hill. Beautiful waterfalls, green hills, bird's tweeting will accompany us throughout our journey. We will stop in one of the villages to have lunch ,then continue to walk up and down until we reach today's ultimate destination. Take rest in one of the fine teahouses in Chhomrong.

Have breakfast while relishing the beautiful vistas. On a clear day, the view looks amazing from the teahouse. Start the trek with descends on the 2000+ rocky stairs.Walk past the German Bread Bakery, the last spot to buy something until we reach Dovan. After descending for hours, we will come across a long suspension bridge overthe Chomrong Khola. From here we will climb upward. The route passes through beautiful forest housing hemlock, oak and rhododendron trees.

After walking for around an hour or two, we will re-enter the Modhi Khola Valley. Past Sinuwa, we will walk across the forest only. The crazy bamboo forest will keep our spirit high. As we pop out of this amazing jungle, we enter Dovan. Dovan is a small settlement in the middle of gigantic hills offering an amazing experience. It has the potential to be your favorite spot in the entire journey.

5 hours hike takes us through beautiful villages, rivers, streams, and hills.Today's trek includes gradual uphill climbing with few steep trails however, today we will tackle lesser stairs. Savor in delicious breakfast then hike for around three hours alongside Modi Khola valley passing through lush forest. Within forty minutes of a steep climb, we will reach Hinku Cave.

Walk for around half an hour on the leveled path until we reach Deurali. Deurali is a small village at an elevation of 3200m. As we will have plenty of time on our hand, we can go out to explore this hidden gem and have a conversation with locals. We can take this as an opportunity to understand the Himalayan lifestyle, customs, and tradition. Overnight stay at a local teahouse.

The natural wonders on our way to Annapurna Base Camp will fill our journey with sheer joy. Start the trek with a gentle ascends on the river bed then follow the trail down to the mountainside. An easy hike for around an hour will take us to Macchapuchere Base Camp. Enjoy the vista of this heavenly place, click the photo then embark into the journey to Annapurna Base Camp.

Around two hours of a climb on the trail dotted with sparkly populated vegetation. On the foothill of a magnificent Mt. Annapurna is the Annapurna Base Camp. From ABC, we can get vistas of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and so on.We will spend a night at Annapurna Base Camp.

Wake up early in the morning to relish the vistas of sunrise above one of the world's tallest mountains. Spend some time enjoying the beauty then start the hike to Bamboo.

Chase the trail piercing the reserve forest. The forest houses diverse flora and fauna. Sparsely populated alpine vegetation makes the trail more interesting. Walk into the tall grass leading to the lush forest.

Today, we will be walking downward mostly. This section of the route is quite easy but longer. It will take us around 7 to 8 hours to reach Bamboo. Take rest after a delicious Himalayan dinner.

Today we will walk for around 5.2 miles. Heading out of the Bamboo, we will follow the route climbing upward. After climbing a steep hill, we will walk on the leveled ground which is later followed by the gradual descend till Sinuwa village.

Leaving the beautiful village behind, we will head to the rocky stairs. A long descent on the stair will take us to Chhomrong Khola. From here, we will be grueling on the thousands of stairs climbing to Chhomrong.

After a short break, we will continue to descend until we reach Jhinu dada. A 20 minutes walk from Jhinu dada leads to the hot spring, which is believed to have healing properties. We will release our tiredness and fatigue in the hot spring before heading back to the lodge. Have a delicious dinner before calling it a day.

The last day of the trek starts with a fulfilling breakfast. Descend on the rocky path leading to Kumnu Khola. After crossing the river, tread on the fluctuating hill for around an hour to reach New Bridge at an elevation of 1500m.

The view of Modi Khola Valley with cliff looks gorgeous from New Bridge. Approximately ninety minutes of walk from New Bridge will take us to Kyumi. Walk for another one and a half hour to get to Syauli Bazar.

Walk for the next two hours to reach Nayapul. A private vehicle will be waiting for us in Nayapul. Hop onto it for the onward journey. Within 1 and a half an hour we will be in Pokhara. If we reach Pokhara on time, we will explore the nearby places and chill in the lakeside. Pokhara is a beautiful city with amazing lakes accompanied by gigantic mountains and lush hills. We will spend our night in a luxurious hotel.

With the beautiful memories in our heart, we will bid goodbye to Pokhara. A half an hour flight or 6 to 7-hour drive will take you to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and take the much-rest. If you wish, we can meet for dinner. Spend a night at a luxurious hotel.

After an eventful day in Nepal, it is time to head home. Do the last minute souvenir shopping; relish the beauty of this colorful city one last time before driving to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. It is time to say goodbye with the hope of seeing each other again. Have a safe journey.
